Important: The seller’s answer is considered a binding part of the offer. The product description, photos and any public Q&A exchanges also form part of the purchase contract.
Questions and answers are reviewed automatically. Content that violates our policies or Terms & Conditions will be automatically hidden without notice.
Allowed content:
- Clear, factual questions about the item
- Follow-up questions about the description or condition
- Requests for additional images (if the 10-image limit is reached)
Not allowed:
- Questions or offers that aim to complete the sale outside of Ricardo
- Sharing phone numbers, email addresses, links or social media profiles
- Promoting external products, shops or services
- Offensive, harassing or inappropriate language
Such messages are not visible to the other party. Repeated violations may lead to your account being suspended.
For security reasons, sharing contact details before completing a purchase is not permitted. This helps prevent off-platform transactions and protects both buyers and sellers from fraud.
Exception: In the Vehicles category, the seller may share their phone number – but only to arrange a viewing.
