You can activate Ricardo Plus at any time, provided that:
- You have seller status on Ricardo.
- Your Ricardo account is a private account.
- Your Swiss IBAN is stored in your Ricardo account.
- The name linked to the IBAN is the same as the name on your Ricardo account.
You can access the activation page via the banner in the ‘My Sales’ section.
You can activate Ricardo Plus in just a few simple steps:
- Introduction: This section provides you with basic information about the Buyer Protection+ scheme.
Verification of the postal address: This involves checking whether:
- You have a Swiss postal address.
- Your address is not a PO box.
- Your address is considered valid by the post office.
If all conditions are met, this step will not be displayed.
- Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Buyer Protection+: In this step, you will be informed about the implications of our partnership with Adyen, a payment service provider. You must accept the Terms and Conditions to activate Buyer Protection+.
Once Buyer Protection+ is activated, the protection will automatically apply to all your current and future listings that meet the Buyer Protection+ terms and conditions
