Free shipping campaigns

Ricardo occasionally runs free shipping campaigns on listings that meet specific requirements. For the campaign running between 02.12.2025 and 08.12.2025, the following requirements apply:

• Item listed by a seller based in Switzerland
• Listing format: buy now, auction, auction with buy now. Listings with the “Make an offer” format are excluded. Shipping fees apply if an offer is accepted.
• For auctions, the bid must be placed between 02.12.2025 (09:00 AM) and 08.12.2025
• In addition, the auction end date must also fall between 02.12.2025 and 08.12.2025
• Price CHF 25.- or above (excl. shipping fees)
• Shipping with parcel B (shipping cost from CHF 7.00 to CHF 11.50; weight up to 10 kg))
• Single-quantity listing

Please note: Free shipping is only available to buyers based in Switzerland.

These campaigns are experimental and run for a limited time. They may be shown only to certain groups of users in order to test how such offers are received. The goal is to learn and improve the overall Ricardo experience.

You can easily find these items in two ways:

• A “Free shipping” badge appears on the listing page



• A “Free shipping” filter is available in search results

Please note: the “Save this search” feature does not work with the free shipping filter.

If you buy an item with free shipping and the campaign ends before you complete the payment, the promotion will still apply when you pay.

Ricardo covers the shipping costs for Parcel B delivery on items sold during the campaign period. You don’t need to opt in - one or more of your items that meet the criteria above, are automatically included.

• Matching listings will display a “Free shipping” badge on the page of the eligible listing
• They will appear under a dedicated filter
• They may be promoted in Ricardo banners and advertising campaigns

• The easiest way to ship is to use the Ricardo shipping label for booking a pick@home directly on Ricardo - sale page.
• There are no costs for the shipping label or pick@home - neither upfront nor afterwards.

2. 1. Mark the item as shipped once you've sent it.
3. 2. Ricardo will credit the shipping fee amount to your account. You’ll see it under the “Fees” section.
4. 3. The credit will be automatically used to reduce any future fees on your account, it cannot be paid out.
