Do I need to verify my identity to sell?
Yes, your account must be verified. Two methods are available:
- Identity verification – usually completed within minutes
- Address verification – requires a code sent by mail
What happens to my ID document?
Your document is scanned by a system that checks validity, theft reports and whether the data matches your account.
In some cases verification may fail. You may retry, your account may be restricted, or a manual review may be performed. If you believe an error occurred, contact customer support.
Can I use a computer?
You can start on a computer, but it is recommended to complete the process on a smartphone via SMS or QR code.
What checks are performed?
Checks include age verification, matching your account data and confirming the document is not fake or stolen. A face photo may also be required.
